Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc, based in New Jersey, is recalling 6,528 bottles of Diltiazem Hydrochloride extended-release capsules, a medication used for high blood pressure treatment, in the United States. The recall is due to failed dissolution specifications. The affected lot, produced in India, exhibited an out-of-specification result during a dissolution test in a long-term stability study.
