Google is reportedly working on integrating an AI-powered ‘Help Me Write’ feature into its Chrome browser, expanding from its current availability in Google Messages, Gmail, Docs, and Keep. The feature generates text responses or long-form content based on user prompts and is expected to appear in the Chrome browser’s autofill popup and right-click menu. Internally referred to as ‘Compose’ or ‘CCO,’ the stable version for users will carry the ‘Help me Write’ branding. The AI text generator may offer options to adjust writing styles, allowing users to specify response length, formality, or casualness. Google aims to enhance user interaction and productivity with this generative-AI capability.
