The government has officially sanctioned the specifications for ‘Nano Urea Plus,’ a new fertiliser product developed by cooperative IFFCO, to be produced in India for the next three years. Nano Urea Plus, an advanced version of nano urea, is formulated to address crop nitrogen requirements during critical growth phases. The liquid form of Nano Urea Plus contains 16% nitrogen content with a pH value of 4-8.5 and viscosity ranging from 5-30. This innovative product aims to enhance soil health, improve farmer profitability, and promote sustainable agriculture practices. IFFCO’s Managing Director and CEO, U S Awasthi, highlighted its benefits, including increased availability and efficiency of micronutrients, promotion of chlorophyll production, and support for climate-smart farming.
