Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, aims to boost its presence in foreign markets by appointing CG Motors as its distributor in Nepal. Additionally, the company plans to establish a greenfield assembly facility in Nepal with a capacity of 75,000 units per year, starting operations in March 2024. Hero MotoCorp sees Nepal as a key market in Asia and intends to introduce new products to strengthen its position. While leading in the domestic market, the company seeks to enhance its global footprint, especially in Nepal, to compete with industry peers like Bajaj Auto and TVS Motor.
