In alignment with the National Education Policy, Himachal Pradesh plans to introduce the ‘Himachal Pradesh Early Childhood Care and Education Tutor Scheme’. This initiative aims to enhance the development of children aged 3 to 6 years through 6,297 pre-primary sections in primary schools and 2,377 co-located anganwadis. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu emphasized the adoption of four Early Childhood Care and Education models, ensuring quality education aligned with National Council for Teacher Education standards.
