The ICC shifted Pakistan’s cricket team to a closer hotel in New York following complaints from the Pakistan Cricket Board about the long commute to the stadium for their T20 World Cup games. The move came after PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s intervention, ensuring the team’s accommodation is just a five-minute drive from the venue. Pakistan is set to face archrival India and Canada in their upcoming matches at the Long Island stadium in Westbury. Concerns over lengthy travel were also raised by Sri Lanka, prompting the ICC to address accommodation proximity for participating teams.
