Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC) requesting a stay on her potential arrest. She seeks details of all cases, including undisclosed FIRs, registered against her. Her petition alleges that government agencies have kept these FIRs secret to prevent her from seeking pre-arrest bail from the courts. She argues that the secrecy of these cases is illegal and violates fundamental rights. Bushra Bibi also claims that political victimization against her and her husband began after his removal from the prime minister’s office, resulting in false and frivolous FIRs against them. The hearing is scheduled before Justice Alia Neelum in the LHC.
