India Cements Ltd reported a reduced consolidated net loss of Rs 50.06 crore in Q4 ending March 31, 2024, compared to Rs 243.77 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations fell to Rs 1,266.65 crore from Rs 1,485.73 crore. Despite lower cement and clinker volume, improved sales performance helped mitigate losses. The company noted increased capacity utilization in Q4 due to better working capital infusion. Total expenses decreased to Rs 1,351.84 crore. For FY24, net loss stood at Rs 215.76 crore, with revenue at Rs 5,112.24 crore. While optimistic about infrastructure spending, India Cements remains cautious due to rising costs and market competition.
