The Indian Army, in collaboration with the DRDO, has conducted successful field trials of the Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) system. Designed and developed indigenously, the system includes launchers, target acquisition devices, and a fire control unit. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the achievement, highlighting its significance in advancing self-reliance in defense technology. The trials showcased exceptional missile and warhead performance, with the system demonstrating the capability to defeat modern armored tanks. Equipped for day and night operations, the MPATGM is now poised for final user evaluation trials before induction into the Indian Army.
