Global chip giant Intel has appointed Gokul Subramaniam, a veteran executive with over 11 years at the company, as the President of Intel India. In this role, Subramaniam will oversee the company’s engineering and design operations in India, focusing on driving innovation, cross-group efficiencies, and the execution of Intel products. Currently serving as a vice president in the Client Computing Group (CCG) and general manager of Client Platforms and Systems, Subramaniam will now also take on the responsibilities of Intel India President. This move follows the departure of Nivruti Rai in June, marking a strategic shift in Intel’s leadership in the country.
