ISRO’s recent PSLV-C58/XPoSat mission has achieved the remarkable milestone of leaving zero debris in Earth’s orbit. This feat was accomplished by transforming the last stage of the PSLV into an orbital station named POEM-3 and de-orbiting it to ensure it burned up in the atmosphere. This proactive approach addresses the growing concern of space debris generated by satellite launches and sets a significant precedent for sustainable space exploration.
