Junior resident doctors in the state of Telangana, represented by the Telangana Junior Doctors Association (T-JUDA), have issued a stern warning to the Health Department officials. In a letter to the Director of Medical Education, they expressed deep concerns over the non-disbursement of stipends for the past two months (August and September). With Dussehra approaching and the critical financial role these doctors play in their families, the T-JUDA emphasized the urgency of releasing stipends. Should the issue persist, a strike is slated for October 30, posing a potential healthcare crisis as junior doctors serve as primary breadwinners.
