More than 5,000 Kashmiri Pandits embarked on the annual Kheer Bhawani pilgrimage from Jammu to Kashmir amidst heightened security. Led by officials and community leaders, devotees sang hymns and departed in 176 buses for five shrines. Despite recent terror incidents, pilgrims remained undeterred, expressing trust in divine protection. The pilgrimage, spanning four days, commenced amid concerns over security following recent attacks in the region. The Kheer Bhawani Mela, attracting an estimated 80,000 migrant Pandits, will be celebrated across five temples in the Valley, fostering spiritual unity and resilience.
