The Kerala High Court has instructed the Koyilandy police to provide adequate protection to Gurudeva College of Advanced Studies, Koyilandy, including its Principal, staff, and students. This directive, issued in response to a petition by the college’s Principal, aims to maintain law and order on campus amidst tensions. Justice Devan Ramachandran emphasized swift police intervention to uphold discipline and prevent disruptions, particularly by certain student leaders. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vadakara, was tasked with overseeing the implementation of these measures before the college’s scheduled reopening.
