Amidst the global observance of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Khalistani supporters staged a protest outside the Indian High Commission in London. The demonstration, following a recent incident in Glasgow, involved waving Khalistani extremist flags and brandishing posters of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Earlier, three Khalistani supporters obstructed the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami, from entering a Gurudwara in Glasgow. Despite the security measures, protestors demanded justice for Nijjar and displayed defaced images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Gurudwara committee in Glasgow expressed regret over the Glasgow incident, where the High Commissioner was prevented from entering.
