Krishna Milk Union (KMU) Chairman Chalasani Anjaneyulu announced that the union’s turnover for FY 2023-24 reached ₹1,200 crore, marking a 9% growth from the previous fiscal. Milk procurement also increased by 8%. The union targets a turnover of ₹1,350 crore for FY 2024-25. Additionally, KMU announced a ₹50 crore bonus for milk-supplying farmers and allocated ₹15 crore for farmer welfare, including financial assistance and gold coins under the Ksheera Bandhu and Kalyanamastu schemes. The union honored Kollipalli Rishita for her exceptional academic achievement in the Intermediate examination, awarding her ₹25,000 along with recognition.
