To ensure security during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha poll rally in Birle Farm, Latur, the district administration has prohibited the flying of drones until the night of April 30-May 1. Additionally, traffic regulations have been imposed on various roads. Collector Varsha Thakur-Ghuge issued the drone ban, along with restrictions on heavy vehicles from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on April 30. The rally, scheduled for 12:30 p.m., will feature Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar. BJP’s Sudhakar Shrangare faces Congress’ Shivaji Kalge in Latur, with voting on May 7 and results on June 4.
