A lorry carrying crates of alcohol, valued at around ₹40 lakh, overturned near Ambur town on the Chennai-Bengaluru highway. The vehicle, transporting over 50,000 liquor bottles for Tasmac outlets in nearby areas, lost control and hit a side wall while avoiding a motorist. The driver and two staff members sustained minor injuries. Passersby and motorists assisted in rescuing the injured and alerted authorities. Traffic was disrupted for over an hour, and police arrived with a crane to restore the lorry. An investigation is underway, with a case registered regarding the incident.
