The Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi disclosed its seat-sharing arrangement for the Lok Sabha elections, allocating 21 seats to the Shiv Sena (UBT), 17 seats to the Congress, and 10 seats to the NCP (SP). The Congress relinquished its claim on the Sangli and Bhiwandi seats, now contested by the Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP) respectively. This agreement reflects strategic cooperation among opposition parties ahead of the upcoming polls in Maharashtra, scheduled in five phases from April 19 to May 20.
