This victory ended Services’ longstanding reign at the top since the 2007 Games. Karnataka swimmer Srihari Nataraj, with an impressive performance of 8 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze, earned the title of the best male athlete. Gymnasts Sanyukta Prasen Kale and Pranati Nayak from Odisha, each securing 4 golds and 1 silver, were recognized as the best female athletes.
