Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ inaugurated the third edition of the Nepal Investment Summit 2024, highlighting Nepal’s potential as an investment destination. With the participation of around 1,800 individuals from various countries, including 140 from India, the summit aims to showcase Nepal’s investment opportunities under the theme ‘Emerging Nepal.’ Prachanda emphasized Nepal’s attractiveness for foreign investment, citing legal, geographical, and strategic advantages. Foreign Minister Barshaman Pun echoed Prachanda’s sentiments, emphasizing the role of foreign investment in industrial and infrastructure development. India’s Ambassador to Nepal, Navin Srivastava, pledged continued support for Indian investors in Nepal, citing India’s substantial investment presence in the country. The summit, featuring 146 projects for potential investors, aims to foster collaboration between Nepal and foreign investors amid stabilizing economic indicators.
