The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, following a terror attack on June 9 in Reasi’s Pouni area. Terrorists had fired on a bus carrying pilgrims, resulting in nine fatalities. Acting on orders from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the NIA targeted five locations linked to “hybrid terrorists” and their supporters known as Overground Workers. The raids, based on information from arrested suspect Hakam Khan alias Hakin din, aimed to uncover support networks providing shelter and logistical assistance to the attackers.
