The Pakistan Army announced the foiling of a terrorist attack at Mianwali Training Air Base in the Punjab province. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that three terrorists were neutralized during their attempted entry, with the remaining three cornered due to a timely and effective response by troops. The incident caused damage to three grounded aircraft and a fuel bowser. A spokesperson for the Tehreek-e-Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack. The ISPR emphasized that a joint clearance and combing operation is underway to completely secure the area, ensuring personnel and assets’ safety.
