Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that 11.8 crore farmers have received financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana. She highlighted record-paced infrastructure development and increased STEM course enrollment, particularly noting a 43% enrollment of women, the highest globally.
