The Speaker emphasized the importance of dignified protest, stating that throwing papers on the Speaker’s chair is impermissible. The Privileges Committee will conduct its proceedings discreetly and submit a report. Earlier, six Congress MLAs were disqualified for defying party directives, impacting the government’s budget vote.
