Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has written to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, condemning JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna’s alleged actions and urging support for the victims. Gandhi accused Revanna of enjoying immunity with the backing of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Describing the incidents as “horrific sexual violence,” Gandhi alleged that Revanna sexually assaulted and filmed hundreds of women. He criticized the BJP leadership’s silence and alleged complicity despite being informed of Revanna’s history of violence. Gandhi emphasized the Congress’s moral duty to fight for justice and supported the Karnataka government’s actions, including the formation of a Special Investigation Team and a request to cancel Revanna’s diplomatic passport.
