The discovery of the Bhukia-Jagpura gold mine in Rajasthan’s Banswara is poised to attract significant industrial investment and generate substantial employment and revenue. The state government will receive ₹500 crore in upfront payments following the mine’s auction, with ₹100 crore expected within 15 days. Over 50 years, the mine is estimated to generate ₹1 lakh crore in revenue and create jobs for around 50,000 people. Besides gold, the mine will yield other valuable minerals like copper, cobalt, and nickel, boosting various industries such as aerospace, electronics, and jewelry.
