REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) to provide financial support of up to INR 35,000 crore for various infrastructure projects over the next five years. The collaboration covers projects in multi-modal logistics hubs, rail infrastructure, road development, port facilities, and metro projects. The agreement was signed by Ajoy Choudhury, Director (Finance) of REC, and Rajesh Prasad, Director (Operations) of RVNL. The MoU reflects REC’s commitment to expanding its portfolio beyond power infrastructure into diverse sectors, contributing to India’s overall growth.
