In response to the Election Commission’s directive, 11 polling stations in the Inner Manipur Lok Sabha constituency conducted fresh voting after the previous polls were deemed null and void. Despite previous unrest, voters turned out in significant numbers, with no reports of violence or disruption. Incidents of firing and intimidation had marred the initial polling, prompting the need for repolling. Overall, Manipur witnessed a 72% turnout across its two Lok Sabha constituencies amidst heightened tensions.
