Russia’s Defence Ministry announced that it had successfully downed 11 Ukrainian drones near Crimea and intercepted two drones flying towards Moscow. The statement revealed that two UAVs heading to Moscow were destroyed, while two were shot down near Sevastopol, Crimea. Additionally, nine drones were reportedly suppressed using electronic warfare and crashed in the Black Sea. No damage or casualties were reported in the affected areas. This comes after Russia reported shooting down two Ukrainian combat drones near Moscow, marking the fourth attack near the capital in a week. The conflict in Ukraine, ongoing for over a year, has recently seen an uptick in attacks, with Crimea being a frequent target.
