American software giant Salesforce has joined forces with India’s Ministry of Education to train 1,00,000 students in Salesforce skills over the next three years. The initiative, part of Salesforce’s commitment to India’s vast talent pool, will provide industry-relevant courses with National Occupation Standard recognition. The program includes “train-the-trainer” sessions for educators, mentorship, virtual internships, and employment connections to Salesforce partners. The collaboration aims to enhance students’ employability by offering customized modules on Salesforce’s online learning platform, Trailhead. Govind Jaiswal, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Education, expressed optimism about the project’s impact on individual students and overall national growth.
