The Samajwadi Party (SP) has announced seven more candidates for Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, bringing the total to 57. Akhilesh Yadav’s party aims to contest 63 out of the 80 seats in the state. The latest candidates include Amarnath Maurya, Ram Shiromani Verma, Lashmikant alias Pappu Nishad, Bhishma Shankar Tiwari, Babu Singh Kushwaha, Ramshankar Rajbhar, and Priya Saroj. Earlier announcements featured Pushpendra Saroj for Kaushambi and Ajay Pratap Singh (Pintu Sainthwar) for Kushinagar. SP’s participation in the Indian National Developmental, Inclusive Alliance underscores its role in the opposition.
