The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) will conduct interviews for the next State Bank of India (SBI) chairman on June 29, following an earlier postponement. Current chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara will retire on August 28. Three managing directors, CS Setty, Ashwini Kumar Tewari, and Vinay M Tonse, are in the running. The decision will be finalized by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. The FSIB, led by Bhanu Pratap Sharma, is tasked with recommending candidates for senior positions in public sector financial institutions.
