The State government plans to review housing schemes for the poor and weaker sections in various states before launching the Indiramma housing scheme. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka directed Housing department officials to visit different states and report their findings. The government aims to construct 3,500 Indiramma houses per constituency, fulfilling one of the Congress’s six guarantees from the 2023 Assembly elections. Emphasis will be on using solar energy and building houses around Hyderabad’s outer and regional ring roads.
