Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon has been awarded a contract for a 30 MW wind power project by EDF Renewables. The project, located in Gujarat, India, will involve the installation of 10 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower, each with a rated capacity of 3 MW. Suzlon will handle the entire project, including supply, supervision, commissioning, post-commissioning, and maintenance services. The generated electricity will be supplied to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) and is expected to power over 24 thousand households while reducing over 97 thousand tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
