Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) has partnered with SJVN Ltd to develop a 460 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. This initiative integrates solar, wind, and battery storage technologies to ensure uninterrupted power supply, aiding power distribution companies. The project aims to generate 3,000 million units of power annually and reduce CO2 emissions by 2,200 million kilograms. Deepesh Nanda, CEO of TPREL, highlighted the project’s contribution to meeting green energy goals. With this addition, TPREL’s total renewables capacity reaches 9,421 MW, supporting sustainable energy solutions.
