Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has completed its six-month investigation into a bribe-for-jobs scandal, resulting in the termination of 16 employees. The probe identified 19 employees involved in the misconduct, with 16 separated from the company for violating the code of conduct. Additionally, three employees were removed from the Resource Management function. TCS debarred six vendor entities and their affiliates from conducting business with the company. The investigation revealed breaches of the company’s Code of Conduct but confirmed no fraud or financial impact on TCS. The company pledged to strengthen governance measures, including personnel rotation and vendor management audits.
