Thailand has introduced new visa measures to enhance tourism, its economic cornerstone. Starting June 1, 2024, travelers from 93 countries can stay up to 60 days, an increase from the previous 57 nations. The list for visas on arrival expands to 31 countries from 19. For remote workers, Thailand offers a new five-year visa, extending the current 60-day digital nomad visa with stays up to 180 days. Foreign postgraduate students can extend their stay for one year post-graduation for job hunting or other activities, with certification from the Ministry of Higher Education.
