Thierry Delaporte, former Wipro CEO, remained the highest-paid CEO in India’s IT sector for FY24, with earnings reaching $20 million. His successor, Srinivas Pallia, is set to receive an annual package of about Rs 50 crore. Wipro’s filings revealed Delaporte’s compensation breakdown, including $3.9 million in salary, $5 million in commission, and $6.8 million categorized as ‘others’. Wipro incurred severance costs of Rs 92.1 crore for Delaporte in FY24. Despite a revenue decline, Delaporte’s compensation reflects acknowledgment of his transformative role. Rishad Premji took a pay cut, earning $769,456 in FY24.
