The number of transgender voters in the district has surged by 95.83% since 2019, according to Thiruvananthapuram Assistant Collector Akhil V. Menon. District efforts, including the appointment of a transgender ambassador for electoral participation, have contributed to this increase, reflecting strides towards inclusive electoral practices.
