Despite heavy rainfall in catchment areas, tourists are still permitted to visit Jalagamparai and Bheeman falls in Tirupattur and Tiruvannamalai districts. Rainfall in key catchment areas like Jamunamarathur and Anaicut region has caused flash floods in streams and tributaries of the Palar river. However, the Forest Department continues to monitor water flow closely and allows tourists in specified areas. Jalagamparai falls, nestled in Nagalathu reserve forest, attracts around 1,000 visitors during weekends, offering a serene retreat amidst nature.
