The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is actively working to resolve bugs in its Do Not Disturb (DND) app, ensuring compatibility with Android smartphones and iPhones. TRAI Secretary V Raghunandan mentioned efforts to address issues with Android devices and aims for full compatibility with all Android devices by March. The DND app has encountered errors in reporting spam calls and SMS, particularly on iPhones due to restricted access to call logs. TRAI is pursuing collaborative approaches, engaging an agency to enhance the app’s security and effectiveness in combating pesky calls, fostering public-private partnerships for comprehensive solutions.
