During his visit to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) headquarters, U.S. Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti proposed the development of a “QUAD satellite” in partnership with India and the U.S. The discussions also highlighted mutual interests in advancing space science and technology, including collaborations on initiatives like NISAR and the Artemis Accord. ISRO Chairman S Somanath emphasized fostering commercial space activities and the role of Indian companies in global markets. Both sides explored avenues for further cooperation, including joint programmes and milestone events.
