Unilever, the London-listed FMCG giant, has named Fernando Fernandez as its Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2024. Currently serving as the President of Unilever’s Beauty & Wellbeing Business Group, Fernandez brings a wealth of experience, having previously led Unilever’s operations in Latin America and Brazil. He takes over from Graeme Pitkethly, who is set to retire, with his departure from the Board scheduled for December 31, 2023. Fernandez’s remuneration as CFO includes an annual fixed pay of €1.175mm, aligning with Unilever’s existing compensation policy and placing him at the median of the company’s pay benchmarking group.
