The US has sanctioned three Chinese companies and one Belarusian firm for providing materials to Pakistan’s ballistic missile programs, including its long-range capabilities. These companies facilitated the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction or their delivery means, according to the State Department. China, a key ally of Pakistan, has been a major arms supplier, while Belarus supplied specialized vehicle chassis crucial for Pakistan’s missile launch support. The sanctioned entities, including Xi’an Longde Technology Development and Granpect Co. Ltd, provided equipment integral to missile production, highlighting US efforts to disrupt proliferation networks.
