Rana Kapoor, co-founder of Yes Bank, has been released from Taloja Central Prison after securing bail in all cases filed against him by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Kapoor was arrested in 2020 for his alleged involvement in a bank fraud of ₹466.51 crore. His bail application cited lack of evidence revealing his role in the case and absence of prima facie offence against him. The court granted him bail in the case involving criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, cheating, and forgery.
