Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy met with NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav to advocate for new national highways in Telangana. Highlighting road safety concerns, Reddy stressed the need to expedite delayed projects to prevent fatalities. He emphasized the urgent expansion of NH-65 (Hyderabad-Vijayawada) to six lanes due to heavy traffic, suggesting it proceed despite a dispute with GMR Company. Reddy also called for resolving issues delaying NH-163 (Hyderabad-Manneguda) construction and urged the rapid preparation of the detailed project report for NH-765 (Hyderabad-Kalvakurthy).
