In response to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s accusation that Prime Minister Modi is neglecting issues in the state, the Opposition BJP asserted that Siddaramaiah’s remarks were aimed at pleasing the Congress high command. Leader of the Opposition R. Ashok, returning from a meeting with central leaders in Delhi, dismissed Siddaramaiah’s statements, suggesting his days as Chief Minister are numbered. Ashok urged Siddaramaiah to “trust Modi” and stated that the CM’s position is secure only until the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, emphasizing the BJP’s confidence in forming the next government.
