The Kerala High Court has permitted Naseef V., implicated in the case of student Sidharthan J.S.’s death, to sit for his final Veterinary Science exam at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. However, the court ordered that exam results not be published without its consent amid an ongoing inquiry. Another accused, Arun K., was denied the same opportunity due to a university anti-ragging committee’s three-year ban on his educational enrollment nationwide. The court reasoned that denying Naseef the chance to appear for exams could unfairly harm him if he were later found innocent.
