Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, addressing election rallies, called on voters to deliver a resounding defeat to the Congress and BJP, accusing them of deceiving and discriminating against Telangana. Rao criticized the BJP-led Centre for its alleged discriminatory policies, highlighting the absence of sanctioned medical colleges and Navodaya Vidyalayas in the region. He urged voters not to waste their ballots on the two major parties, emphasizing the need to sustain Telangana’s development momentum. Rao also accused the BJP of divisive politics and promised to develop the Kondagattu hill shrine with a ₹1,000 crore allocation if re-elected for a third term.
